Kilby Privacy Policy

Kilby is an AI assistant app. This policy explains what information Kilby processes, how it is used, and how you can delete your account and data.

Information Kilby Processes

Account information from Firebase Authentication, such as your email address, display name, and Firebase user ID.
Chat content you send in the app, including saved threads and messages.
Profile and preference data you choose to save, such as your name, communication style, agent personality, agent experience, voice, and voice delivery settings.
Photos only when you choose to attach them to a conversation.
Microphone input only when you actively use voice input or microphone-powered features.
Location data only when you ask for location-based help such as weather and provide device location, or when approximate IP-based location is used for that request.
Google Workspace connection data if you choose to connect Google services such as Drive, Calendar, or Tasks.

How Kilby Uses Information

To authenticate you and maintain your account session.
To generate assistant responses, voice output, and personalized behavior inside the app.
To save chat history, settings, and profile data so the app can work across sessions.
To complete optional user-requested actions such as checking weather, generating spoken audio, handling uploads, or connecting Google services.

Third-Party Services

Kilby uses third-party services to operate core features, including:

Firebase Authentication for sign-in and account identity.
Google Cloud / Firebase services for stored app data.
Anthropic and Google AI services to generate assistant and voice responses.
Google APIs if you choose to connect Google Workspace features.

Data Sharing

Kilby does not sell personal information. Data is shared only with service providers that are required to run the app or complete features you request.

Data Retention

Account data, saved chats, preferences, and connected-service tokens are retained until you delete your account or the data is otherwise removed by the publisher.

Account Deletion

You can delete your Kilby account inside the app from Settings using the Delete Account button. That deletion removes saved chats, profile data, agent settings, and connected Google Workspace tokens associated with the account in Kilby.

Children

Kilby is not directed to children under 13.
